Senior Director of Information Technology

Typical duties:
  • Provide day to day information technology services, including system set up, troubleshooting, maintenance of systems, as well as hardware and software guidance to employees throughout all divisions of BioCare
  • Identify, evaluate and select new and proven technologies and services that result in improved competitiveness, increased productivity, enhanced customer service and/or reduced costs
  • Implement proper controls to maintain a high level of data security, integrity and system performance, recommending mitigation strategies to reduce/eliminate risks
  • Lead the development of IT short-term and long-term plans to support BioCare’s strategic objectives and mission
  • Implement leading and proven technology to support and enhance cyber security, infrastructure, applications, and collaboration tools to support business operation and growth
  • Manage projects and resource allocation to ensure business initiatives are met, and that the strategic plans are on target and within budget
  • Oversee relationships and contracts with all external system partners, including evaluation, selection, compliance and retention
  • Work closely with direct reports to recommend capital and operating budgets for the IT department
  • Recruit, motivate, develop and lead a high-quality IT team as warranted by growth
  • Participate in contract negotiations and provide final approval for the purchase, rent, lease, or license of computer systems, office systems, hardware, software or services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible Information Technology experience, to include at least 5 years leading an IT department
  • Experience attending to foundational elements of IT management, including cost control, security, reliability, governance, and aligning technology operations with business objectives
  • Leadership of a multi-site/subsidiary structure
  • Experience working in a highly regulated business, assuring regulatory compliance, proper security controls and risk management
  • Thorough knowledge of current state-of-the-art computer concepts and strategies, including networking (MPLS and wireless mobile), equipment, development strategies and operations
  • A broad understanding of general business and management practices, computer system design techniques and controls, and computer operations procedures and techniques
  • Knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse technologies
  • Experience developing and managing a complex IT budget
  • Demonstrated ability to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve productivity via proper use of technology and efficient management of IT resources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with customers, employees, and vendors at all levels
  • Strong management, team building and leadership skills with the ability to delegate, make difficult decisions, and effectively utilize and develop personnel
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as significant ability negotiating computer and software-related contracts
  • Must pass background check within company standards

Typical duties:
  • Designs and develops new reports based upon defined requests, following SOPs
  • Creates and runs daily, weekly and monthly sales, finance and transactional reports (both manual and automated)
  • Manages report request queue from initiation through completion, including detailed requirements, design and validations

What we are looking for:
  • Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems/Business Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Over 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012, SSIS/SSRS in OLTP and OLAP (Data warehousing) environments.
  • Extensive experience in BI Tech stack (ETL & Reporting) using Data factory, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL; programming for various business applications in Star schema; data lake and synapse experience is a plus
  • Working experience with MS Dynamics F&O and SCM is a plus
  • Experience in business analysis, business process definition, data analysis, data mapping, reporting analysis, requirement analysis, business modeling in Power BI/DAX and PBRS
  • Extensive ability in writing T-SQL queries and developing SQL stored procedures
  • Advanced skills in creating Reports, Dashboard and perform Data Visualization using Power BI
  • Experience on IDE Visual Studio 2010/2015/2017, X++, Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Proficient in software development lifecycles, namely Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Typical duties:

  • Conduct market analysis; develop sales strategy, goals and account plans in collaboration with the Alternate Site Sales Director
  • Develop and execute strategies for generating leads, building pipelines, and closing opportunities

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of sales and/or marketing, including business management
  • At least five years’ experience in pharma, biotech, healthcare or medical sales
  • Valid in-state driver’s license
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with customers, employees, and vendors at all levels
  • Ability to manage allocations
  • Must have a proven track record of growing business with large, complex customers
  • Ability to think strategically and independently
  • Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency

  • Ability to understand complex contracting and develop sound financial business case.
  • Possesses strong negotiation skills in a complex environment
